Running Red Light Caused T-Bone – $250,000

This case was a major impact collision caused by a negligent driver who ran a red light and T-Boned our client’s vehicle. The fire department had to use the jaws of life to extract our client from his vehicle. Our client sustained injury to his lower back, and underwent multiple injections to his lower back – none of which worked – before ultimately being recommended lumbar discectomy surgery. Despite the recommended surgery costing more than the defendant’s policy limits, the defendant carrier made an initial low ball offer of $105,000. We stood our ground and made it clear that we were not accepting anything less than the defendant’s policy limits. Once the adjuster realized we were not messing around, the at fault carrier quickly tendered its insured’s $250,000 policy limits. Our client walked away very happy.
