Significant Injuries from Rear End Accident – $202,500

Our client was injured in a rear-end collision that left him with significant neck, back, leg, and knee injuries. The impact caused severe neck pain, upper, mid, and low back pain, left leg pain, left knee pain, ankle pain, and a laceration to his leg. The collision also resulted in moderate to major property damage.

Following the crash, he sought extensive medical treatment beginning just days after the accident. His care included emergency room treatment, physician evaluations, diagnostic imaging, and interventional pain management. X-rays were performed on his bilateral ankles, bilateral knees, and cervical and thoracic spine. MRI studies revealed cervical disc bulges up to 2mm and lumbar disc bulges up to 4mm.

As his symptoms persisted, our client underwent platelet-rich plasma (PRP) trigger-point injections to his cervical and lumbar spine. He later required a series of three fluoroscopy-guided lumbar epidural PRP injections at L4-L5 to address ongoing low back pain and radicular symptoms. Despite extensive treatment, he continued to experience significant pain and functional limitations, ultimately undergoing a comprehensive disability evaluation that documented cervical and lumbar disc injuries, lumbar radiculopathy, chronic headaches, bilateral knee injuries, anxiety, and ongoing spinal impairment. Total medical costs were  $111,961.52.

Although negotiations began with an offer of just $140,000, our team continued to aggressively advocate for our client and ultimately secured a $202,500 settlement from the insurance.
