Total Loss Leads to Excess Coverage Policy – $650,000

Our client was at a complete stop at an intersection when she was rear ended with great force. She had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance, reporting lower back pain and neck pain. Due to major rear end damage the vehicle was declared a total loss.

Her spinal pain was severe and she received multiple treatments with medical bills totaling in excess of the regular policy limits of the at fault party. The pain also limited her movement and activities, warranting pursing further compensation.

We fought hard, through a series of escalating demands. Their initial offer did not even cover our clients medical bills. In the end we were able to secure the policy limits of $250,000 from the insurance plus $400,000 from the excess coverage policy for a total of $650,000.
