Bus Rear-ended – $100,000

Our client was operating a bus on a residential roadway when she was rear-ended by the defendant. The collision occurred after our client made a left turn and pulled into a designated bus zone to pick up a passenger. The defendant failed to stop in time, struck the rear of the bus, and initially continued driving. We were able to successfully ensure that 100 percent liability was accepted by the defendant’s insurance carrier. As a result of the accident, our client suffered injuries to her mid and lower back, along with radiating pain into her right leg. The case was successfully resolved for the full policy limits of $100,000 under the defendant’s insurance policy.
