Head On Collision Total Loss – $300,000

Published: 05/11/2026

This case was a head on collision caused by a negligent driver running a red light. Our client’s vehicle was deemed a total loss and the impact forced our client to be taken to the hospital via ambulance from the scene. He suffered from cuts, abrasions, neck, head, back, and leg pain. To date, he still has a scar on his hand and stomach.

Our client underwent conservative treatment and one PRP injection. His treatment included a hospital visit, chiropractic care, imaging, and pain management. His medical bills were around $57,000.00.

The third party insurance carrier provided a lowball $28,743.56 pre-litigation offer. After months of litigation, including written discovery and deposition, we sent a demand for the policy limits emphasizing how the incident negatively impacted our client’s life. Ultimately, the defendant’s policy limits were tendered. Our client was very happy with the result and our representation.

*A study by the Insurance Research Council found that people who hire an experienced lawyer after an accident file claims at least 3.5 times larger than those without one. No guarantees made, every case is different.
