Injured Client and Passenger – $200,000

Published: 03/04/2026

Our client, sustained injuries in a motor vehicle collision that occurred in California. She was a passenger in the vehicle when the defendant caused the crash, resulting in significant impact and bodily injury.

As a direct result of the collision, our client suffered injuries to her neck, mid-back, lower back, shoulders, and arms, with primary complaints of persistent lower back pain. She underwent extensive medical treatment, including chiropractic care, medical evaluations, diagnostic imaging, pain management treatment, and injection therapy. MRI imaging revealed multiple disc protrusions and bulges in both the cervical and lumbar spine. Ultimately, she required interventional pain management treatment, including cervical and lumbar epidural steroid injections and PRP therapy. Her total medical expenses amounted to $27,535.

A demand was submitted to the at-fault insurance carrier, in an effort to resolve the matter pre-litigation. The insurance’s initial offer was $44,797.84. Through strategic negotiations, we were able to secure the full policy limits for our client, as well as for her mother, who was also a passenger in the vehicle. The matter ultimately resolved for a collective $200,000 settlement, with each client settlement being $100,000.

*A study by the Insurance Research Council found that people who hire an experienced lawyer after an accident file claims at least 3.5 times larger than those without one. No guarantees made, every case is different.
